2020 Australian 75th Anniversary of The End Of WWII Silver Coin 1/10 oz on Card Responsible for the death of an estimated 60 to 80 million soldiers and civilians WWII was an international struggle that ended in 1945 following years of devastating battle. In 2020, 75 years on, the world stands ready to reflect upon the events of the war and acknowledge the enormity of the sacrifice and suffering it caused. The reverse of the coin depicts a representation of two wreaths and a central dove motif. The inscription ‘END OF WORLD WAR II 75th ANNIVERSARY’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design. The coin is presented in a emotive black display card portraying a delicately coloured illustration of the coin’s reverse design.
