A vibrant, accessible introduction to Northern Rhône Syrah.Sourced from younger vines in the Crozes-Hermitage area and raised entirely without oak for nine months in tank, this "wine of the land" delivers authentic savory deliciousness and immediate, youthful drinking pleasure without the need for cellaring. Colour: Bright, youthful ruby red with deep purple highlights. Aroma: A highly expressive, pepper-dominant bouquet bursting with dark cherries, fresh plums, cassis, and woodsmoke, layered with underlying notes of black olive, rosemary, and cracked black pepper. Palate: Medium-bodied, juicy, and wonderfully crunchy. The palate serves up a dense core of succulent dark berries, sour cherry, and a hint of mocha, displaying a lovely granite lift and a pure, unadorned varietal focus. Structure: Defined by a refreshing line of integrated, balanced acidity and smooth, silky tannins.
