Private seller (not a government agency), listed on a platform we index for its fleet and equipment.
Condition: As-is
- 24 H x 33 W cm (image); 47H ^x 57W ^cm (frame) - Signed lower right corner - This work is likely from the early 1900s - Woodhouse was the son of a prominent colonial equine artist Frederick Woodhouse and alongside his eventual work as a painter, graphic artist, lithographer he also became a cartoonist (such as for Adelaide Punch Magazine) - This work is beautifully framed in original antique frame; there is some wear to frame evident and commensurate with age; some foxing appears to be to glass mainly and not watercolour; otherwise overall very good condition
