PANERAI LUMINOR MARINA AUTOMATIC AUTO 44MM STAINLESS STEEL PAM00104 BLACK BXP COA Brand: Panerai Model: Luminor Marina Automatic Acciaio Reference: PAM00104 (PAM 104) Case: 44mm cushion case, stainless steel, polished/brushed Case Height: Approx. 16mm Lug Width: 24mm Crown: Luminor lever-locking crown-protecting bridge Crystal: Sapphire Caseback: Solid steel Water Resistance: 300m Dial: Black; printed luminous Arabic numerals and baton indices Hands: Luminous baton hands Functions: Hours, minutes, small seconds at 9, date at 3 Movement: Calibre OP III automatic, ETA 7750 base, COSC-certified chronometer Jewels / Frequency: 21 jewels / 28,800 vph Power Reserve: Approx. 42 hours Production Period: Approx. 2002–2015 (exact year unconfirmed) Condition: Very Good (pre-owned) Inclusions: Box and papers (full set) COA: Certificate of Authenticity included Provenance & collectability: Introduced in 2002, the PAM 104 is one of Panerai’s defining modern references. It is the core 44mm automatic Luminor Marina that set the template for the brand’s civilian success. Its long production run and later succession by the PAM01104 make it a benchmark reference for collectors entering the brand. Design & dial: The black dial follows Panerai’s naval-instrument lineage with oversized Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9 and a small seconds register at 9. The date sits at 3, giving it everyday practicality. It is all framed by the 44mm cushion case and the patented crown-protecting bridge that defines the Luminor silhouette. Movement: Powered by the calibre OP III, a Panerai-modified ETA 7750 base. The chronograph module is removed, and the movement has a Glucydur balance, Incabloc shock protection, and Côtes de Genève finishing. It is COSC-certified, robust, and widely serviceable. Condition: Presented in Very Good pre-owned condition, with wear consistent with careful use. It carries 300m water resistance and the full tool-watch presence that has made the reference a staple daily wearer. Inclusions: Offered as a full set with box and papers, plus a separate Certificate of Authenticity. That combination gives a buyer documented provenance and independent verification, which is the strongest way to present this reference. (SN:PAM00104) Part of the "Luxury Watches and Cases" sale on Grays.
