A complex, expressive Bordeaux-style red blend from the Walla Walla Valley in Washington State.Crafted by winemaker Jean-François Pellet, this vintage leads with Cabernet Franc (40%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (28%), filled out with Merlot (18%), Malbec (10%), and Petit Verdot (4%). Colour: Deep, dark ruby red. Aroma: Inviting and complex, featuring front-and-centre notes of raspberry, brambles, and cassis, layered with dried herbs, cedar, a hint of black pepper, and subtle smoke. Palate: Full-bodied, rich, and smooth, showcasing bright cherry and raspberry flavours alongside black tea, anise, liquorice, and bittersweet chocolate. Finish: Long, structured, and brooding, driven by lively, slightly grippy tannins and an appealing touch of amaro-like bitters. Part of the "Curated Fine Wine Collection :: Icons" sale on Grays.
