Big and bold is the core winemaking philosophy with my Vat 310 Shiraz. Vintage 2020 coincided with the outbreak of Covid 19 creating its own challenge, fortunately growing conditions were perfect. The season was long and dry. The berries were small with excellent colour and flavour intensity. As always, this wine captures the essence of the variety with rich, ripe fruit characteristics that are full flavoured and long living. The dominant French Oak flavours add complexity and silky tannins. This is classic Barossa Shiraz with solid berry fruit, savoury spice and the hallmark Barossa touch of dark chocolate on the finish. Part of the "12Hr Wine Sale - 10am-10pm" sale on Grays.
