Item Includes: 1x Robert Sinskey Marcien 2006 1x Robert Sinskey Marcien 2007 The Robert Sinskey Vineyards Marcien 2006 showcases the depth and impressive structure of a highly successful, balanced vintage in the cooler Los Carneros region of Napa Valley. Crafted as a refined proprietary red blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this fully matured wine opens with an earthy and savoury bouquet of dried plums, currants, and black cherry, beautifully interwoven with nuanced notes of rosemary, bay leaf, and flint. On the palate, it exhibits a silky mid-palate structure layered with herbal undertones, green pepper character, and integrated alcohol. The tannins are fine-grained yet firm, supported by a bright, mouth-watering acidity that drives into a long, savoury finish marked by graphite, dark chocolate, and a final crack of black pepper.Benefiting from a cooler, lower-yielding drought year, the Robert Sinskey Vineyards Marcien 2007 presents a similarly structured but distinctly concentrated and elegant expression. It reveals a restrained, sophisticated nose of forest floor, sweet dried herbs, and a meaty smokiness that builds into intense aromas of cassis, black fruits, and a hint of capsicum. The full-bodied palate displays remarkable texture, where an appearance of sweet, dense fruit seamlessly harmonises with a sleek mineral backbone and lush, fully developed tannins. Bright acidity cuts beautifully through the rich core, allowing evolving notes of dark chocolate, mocha, and blackberry to gracefully extend into an exceptionally long, clean, and affable dinner-table finish Part of the "Curated Fine Wine Collection :: Taste of Summer" sale on Grays.
