Full Description

As one of the Barossa's premium winemakers St Hallett sources Shiraz grapes from a number of mature vineyard sites in the Barossa and Eden Valleys.Stuart Blackwell, winemaker since 1974, works with the dedicated Shiraz growers of St Hallett selecting only exceptional parcels of fruit from these low yielding vineyards for release as Blackwell Shiraz. Each parcel is kept separate during crushing, fermentation and throughout oak maturation, which equips Stuart with the blending options required to craft wine with great intensity and complexity.
