Vintage Peavey Wireless Performer High Band Transmitter/Receiver System. Manufactured in the USA, this rack-mountable pro audio device serves as a central receiver unit for older VHF wireless microphone or instrument configurations. Key Features & Controls RF Control Section: Features an "RF ON" indicator light alongside an adjustable Mute (Squelch) knob graduated from 1 to 10 to suppress background radio noise when the transmitter is off. Audio Control Section: Equipped with a Volume control knob (0 to 10) to regulate the output signal fed into your mixing console. Power Indicators: Includes a standard rock power switch paired with a "POWER ON" LED indicator. Diversity Expansion: Supports Peavey's dual-receiver diversity expansion via the rear panel to actively minimize signal dropouts and multipath interference. Compatibility & Modern Use Note This system operates within the VHF high-band frequency spectrum (typically 150 to 216 MHz).
