Surplus sale of One (1) modular building; sold AS-IS and not warranted to be in operational or functional condition. Manufacturer: Double L Group Model: BLS-2 Building Use/Type: Modular building, single floor (floorplan can be seen in pictures) Year Built: 1998 All transportation arrangements and costs to remove the building from our location are the responsibility of the winning bidder. -A large, oversized, flatbed truck and a winch to move the building onto it will be required, along with any other tools or equipment needed to move such a large building -winning bidder must meet any legal requirements, permits for oversized regulations, such as escort/pilot vehicles -The modular building is 54 feet by 14 feet and sits on skids -Weight is unknown -There are two (2) soil/ground anchors attached that the winning bidder would have to remove/cut, cutting tools will be required. -The building rests on concrete footings, there is no bona fide anchor plate -There are stacks atop the buidling and a side-hood (see attached pictures) that stick out and should be removed by winning bidder prior to transport NOTE: The University of Rhode Island is not responsible for transportation, truck, escort/pilot vehicle permits, regulatory requirements, nor will any tools, vehicles, or physical assistance be provided to the winning bidder for loading and transport of the modular building. ALSO NOTE: extraneous items which may be visible in pictures are not part of this sale.
