The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview This lot contains dental and eye equipment consisting of (1) Veatch Maximizer II Exam Chair, (1) Carl Zeiss Atlas 9000, (1) Dental Steamer, and (1) EyeCubed Biometry A-Mode & Diagnostic unit with printer and monitor. The equipment is classified in repairable condition. All items have been removed from service and have exceeded their life expectancy, having been replaced with newer models. Specifications Veatch Maximizer II Exam Chair: Make: Veatch, Model: Maximizer II Carl Zeiss Atlas 9000: Make: Carl Zeiss, Model: Atlas 9000 EyeCubed Biometry A-Mode & Diagnostic: Equipment: Includes printer and monitor Key Features The Veatch Maximizer II Exam Chair was used in the ophthalmology clinic for patient eye examinations. The Carl Zeiss Atlas 9000 was used in the ophthalmology clinic for patient eye exams. The Dental Steamer was used in the dental service section to clean and sterilize dental instruments. The EyeCubed Biometry A-Mode & Diagnostic unit was used to examine eyes and was in working condition when removed from service. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts are missing, and repairs are required. All items may need repair parts. All equipment has exceeded its life expectancy. Items are sold with no warranties. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Items are available for viewing between 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
