Overview This lot contains (6) Steris 462DPAST Hausted Horizon Series stretchers originally purchased in 2011. The stretchers are classified in repairable condition. Three stretchers have usable mattresses and three do not have mattresses. The stretchers show expected age-related cosmetic and functional wear consistent with long-term service in clinical environments. Built for frequent use in emergency and inpatient environments. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Brake sticks may be present. Control may not work. Handrail issues may be present. Electrical cable may be damaged. Aesthetic issues may be present. Expected age-related cosmetic and functional wear consistent with long-term service. Three units do not include mattresses. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. This facility does not prepare any sales for shipping or assist with loading or removal. All sales must be removed by removal date listed on the GSA sales receipt or the sale lot will be returned to GSA for resale. For any mattresses, bedding, or upholstered furniture offered in this invitation, the purchaser is advised to procure and affix tags, labels, or stamps required by law or otherwise to comply with the state laws pertaining to sterilization, resale, and reuse of such items and filling material as required by state law.
