Overview (1) 1999 34 Foot Hydrographic Survey Vessel. The vessel is classified in repairable condition. The vessel requires extensive repairs including engine work, electrical system restoration, and hull maintenance. Equipped with pilothouse. Northern Lights Generator included. Grab rails present but disassembled. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts are missing, and repairs are required. Caterpillar 3208T engine reported inoperative. Flaking gel coat on hull surface. Interior shows chips, dings, and mildew throughout. Seals and bearings are locked or dry-rotted. Electrical system is severely deteriorated. Navigation and communications systems are missing. Mechanical systems have missing parts and dry-rotted hoses. Bilges contain dirty and stagnant water. Generator is inoperative. Grab rails have been disassembled. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. A trailer or cradle is not included in the sale with the vessel. Purchaser must arrange crane services and ground transportation to remove the vessel. Hull, mechanical and electrical systems should be tested and repaired prior to vessel operation. The successful bidder is responsible for the proper disposal of oily water that may have accumulated in the vessel. Lifting slings, rigging gear and shackles, if provided, may not be certified or serviceable and must be verified by the successful bidder prior to use. Any law enforcement or military equipment that appears will be removed by the government prior to sale. Successful bidders will be provided with a Purchaser's Receipt, a Bill of Sale and a request for certification of build form.
