Description

Overview (1) Palmer Machine TA-24H dump trailer. The trailer is classified in salvage condition. The trailer was overturned during use and sustained catastrophic damage to the hoist box lift yoke, lift cylinder, and hoist box. The trailer is no longer straight and cannot be aligned. Specifications Make: PALMER MACHINE Model: TA-24H Body Style: Dump VIN: 1P924HS249A003894 Condition & Markings The trailer sustained catastrophic damage to the hoist box lift yoke, lift cylinder, and hoist box during an overturn incident. The lift cylinder yoke is broken and the cylinder itself has failed. Hydraulic fluid for the lift cylinder was lost when the hose fitting failed after the fall. The trailer is no longer straight and probably cannot be aligned. The axles and tailgate sustained no damage and can possibly be salvaged and re-used on a different trailer. The tires have approximately 40 percent use remaining. Bar tag marking: M0054. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment.
