Condition: As-is
Advance appointment mandatory to inspect & remove by contacting Jim Barrett at(256) 690-3667 or James.Barrett@yulista.com . Metroliner RC-26, Serial number: 940261 (N527LA). The aircraft has been repaired and improved to near-flyable status; please refer to the "Documents Section" for additional details. As this was previously an Air Force aircraft, all demilitarization requirements have been met. Please note that the removal of military equipment has left holes in the fuselage. Historical records will be available for review during the physical inspection. Additionally, please be aware that this aircraft requires both a ground test and a flight test before an application for an airworthiness certificate can be submitted. THE CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY IS "AS IS" CONDITION. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO WARRANTY IS IMPLIED OR APPLIED. PHOTOGRAPHS ARE SAMPLE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE AIRCRAFT. PHYSICAL INSPECTION OF THE RECORDS AND AIRCRAFT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AS AIRCRAFT CONDITION/RECORDS SUBJECT TO CHANGE PRIOR TO SALE. Bidders have the opportunity to physically inspect the property prior to placing a bid and prior to the auction's closing date and time or thereby waive the opportunity to conduct a physical inspection. In waiving their inspection rights, bidders bear the risk for any gross omissions regarding the functionality of items, failure to cite major missing parts, and/or restrictions with regard to usage that would have been revealed by physical inspection. Buyer is responsible for completing the End Use Certificate and bringing the aircraft into compliance with 14 CFR Chapter or other applicable standards, by obtaining all necessary FAA inspections or modifications. The removal time frame will be extended so that the End Use Certificate DLA form can be completed by the winning bidder and must be approved by the Department of Defense before the aircraft shall be released to the winning bidder. A link to the End Use Certificate can be found in the "Documents" section. The successful bidder shall hold the Government and or Government representative harmless from any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or claims of any nature arising from or incidental to inspection, purchase, use, or resale of this item. The bidder will comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations with respect to the care, handling, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other use of the material hereby purchased. The bidder will hold the United States harmless from and indemnify the United States against any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or other claims of any nature arising from or incident to the handling, use, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other disposition of the items purchased.
