The fire extinguishers are classified in salvage condition. Each fire extinguisher weighs approximately 5 pounds. The units are currently empty and will require recharging by the recipient. Key Features Contains 60 individual fire extinguisher units. Each unit weighs 5 pounds. Units require recharging before use. Condition & Markings Parts are missing, and repairs are required. This item contains hazardous material. The bidder will comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations with respect to the care, handling, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other use of the material hereby purchased. The bidder will hold the United States harmless from indemnify the United States against any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or other claims of any nature arising from or incident to the handling, use, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other disposition of the items purchased. All fire extinguishers are empty and require recharging. Units are stored in black plastic crates and wooden pallets as shown in images. Various serial numbers and technical specifications are visible on individual units. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Item is located inside Presidio of San Francisco at 1242 Warehouse. Recipient must contact Property Custodian prior to entering facility in order to access item. Appointment must be scheduled by email using the POC information provided. No special equipment is needed to remove item. Presidio will not ship or deliver item.
