The solid green one is an optical theodolite manufactured by Wild Heerbrugg in Switzerland, likely in the early 1960s. It is designed to measure both horizontal and vertical angles with high precision that can be used to calculate distance. The one with a green crackle finish is a surveying transit manufactured by Keuffel & Esser, likely at some point in the 1950s or 60s. It is also designed to measure horizontal and vertical angles that can be used to calculate distance, but also includes a built-in magnetic compass for orientation. The black one is a surveying transit produced by the Eugene Dietzen company in Chicago, IL, likely in the late 1940s to early 50s. Like the other two, it was designed to measure horizontal and vertical angles that can be used to calculate distance, and also has an integrated compass. The functionality of this equipment is unknown.
