The containers have been stored outside for an extended period. Key Features Metal construction containers designed for hazardous material storage. Each container features multiple access doors and ventilation openings. Control panels and monitoring equipment are mounted on the exterior surfaces. Containers appear to be designed for portable hazardous material containment operations. Condition & Markings Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. This item contains hazardous material. The bidder will comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations with respect to the care, handling, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other use of the material hereby purchased. The bidder will hold the United States harmless from indemnify the United States against any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or other claims of any nature arising from or incident to the handling, use, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other disposition of the items purchased. Both containers show signs of weathering from prolonged outdoor storage. Visible surface rust and paint deterioration on exterior surfaces. Discoloration patterns visible on container surfaces. Control panels and monitoring equipment show signs of exposure damage. Some doors and access panels may require adjustment or repair. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
