It behooves the buyer to be cognizant of these requirements prior to bidding/acquisition, especially with respect to return to service. The remaining hour calculations are based on the assumption that the aircraft continues to be flown at the current FLE burn rate as seen by the CNAF T-34 fleet. Aircraft remaining life drops dramatically if operators fly the aircraft to peak design limits. Bidder is responsible for funding AMARG to prepare and tow the aircraft to one of a number of MRO's just outside of the base, and is required to supply a set of aircraft tires/wheels: Tire Specs : Main tires are 19.5x6.75-8 P/N 196K08-9. They are TUBELESS tires Nose wheel is 5.00-5 P/N 505C01-2 and is a TUBE type tire Historical records are available to review/inspect at aircraft location during physical inspection. Records are provided for informational purposes only. The accuracy and availability of records are NOT guaranteed or warranted. The removal time frame will be extended so that the End Use Certificate DLA form can be completed by the winning bidder and must be approved by the Department of Defense before the aircraft shall be released to the winning bidder. The End Use Certificate form is located on the "Documents" Section below. ****WARNING TO BIDDER: -The current EUC assessment timeframe is roughly 30-60 days but could move in either direction. Payment is due within five (5) business days after the End Use Certificate receives approval. - Upon approval of the End Use by DLA DoD Trade Security, the winning bidder pays GSA the purchase price. Separately: Since this aircraft is located in AMARG, a government contractor, additional fees will be assessed by AMARG. It is solely the responsibility of the winning bidder to coordinate and pay additional fees directly to AMARG (Davis-Monthan Air Force Base) to successfully remove this aircraft. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to inspect the aircraft prior to bidding or procurement. Specific engine and maintenance due questions for this aircraft are upon request. This aircraft may NOT be in compliance with applicable FAA requirements and has neither been registered with the FAA nor maintained in accordance with FAA standards. The buyer is responsible for bringing this aircraft into compliance with applicable standards by obtaining all necessary FAA inspections or modifications. This aircraft was certified by the United States Navy (USN) and flown under Military Type Certification (MTC) for purposes of airworthiness. It is the assuming owner's responsibility to obtain airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or equivalent agency. The USN does not possess all the technical data required to obtain such certification and it is thereby incumbent upon the owner to work with the appropriate Type Certificate (TC) and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holders to certify and confirm the aircraft is in the configuration desired by the operator.
