Pickups and product inspections must be scheduled with surplus at least a day beforehand. This item produces ionizing radiation and is registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) as part of the University of Pittsburgh's institutional inventory. When this unit is sold, we are required to update our inventory accordingly and report the transfer to the PA DEP. The DEP may follow up with the purchasing party to ensure the equipment is properly registered in their name.
