The Varidesk ProPlus 36 (now branded as the Vari Pro Plus 36) is arguably the most famous standing desk converter. It’s designed to sit right on top of your existing desk, allowing you to switch between sitting and standing without replacing your furniture. Specifications Surface Width: 36 inches (91.5 cm) — comfortably fits two 24-inch monitors or one large ultrawide. Weight Capacity: 35 lbs (15.8 kg). This is plenty for most dual-monitor setups, but be careful if you use heavy, older iMacs or multiple large mounting arms. Height Settings: 11 different positions, ranging from 4.5" to 17.5" above your desk surface. Lift Mechanism: A patented spring-assisted "rowing lift." Unlike some converters that lift straight up, this one moves slightly up and out toward you, which helps maintain a safe distance from your screens and uses your body weight to assist the lift.
