GovAuctions Summary

A Cartier Santos 100 automatic watch, reference 2878, in a 33 mm steel case with an aftermarket diamond bussdown setting and a silver Roman dial, with a certificate of authenticity and a black leather strap. The aftermarket diamond setting changes the buyer pool, so it sells to custom watch buyers and luxury watch resellers who handle modified pieces, not to buyers wanting an original Cartier. Verify the authenticity paperwork and have the movement serviced before bidding, and check that the stated 33 mm case size fits the buyer's needs.
