Currently in an exceptional place for drinking.As a bold, structured wine from an iconic Napa vintage, its muscular tannins have integrated beautifully with time, allowing the deep fruit and spice characteristics to take centre stage. Aroma: A bold, multi-layered nose featuring rich aromas of cassis, wild black cherries, and sweet spice box, underlined by complex notes of fragrant tilled earth, fresh cedar, and a touch of milk chocolate. Palate: Medium to full-bodied and robust, displaying a dense core of blackberry jam, licorice, and anise. The fruit profile is supported by a distinctive but nicely integrated oak presence and a firm, grainy, and muscular tannic framework.
