Item Includes: 1x Reynvaan In The Hills Estate Syrah 2014 1x Reynvaan In the Rocks Estate Syrah 2014 The Reynvaan In The Hills Estate Syrah 2014 represents a highly expressive, elegant nod to the classic Côte-Rôtie style of the Northern Rhône. Co-fermented with 5% Viognier from the foothills of the Blue Mountains, the nose reveals an ethereal and fierce aromatic intensity. Rich aromas of wild blueberry, raspberry, and violet are layered with distinctive savoury notes of bacon fat, kalamata olive brine, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied Washington Syrah displays a controlled, refined structure where dark, cocoa-tinged fruit meets a subtle wood char and fine-grained tannins. A bright line of natural acidity balances its wild, forest-like intensity, culminating in a smooth, persistent finish defined by its earthy and complex mineral undertones.Shifting to a warmer, uniquely stony terroir, the Reynvaan In the Rocks Estate Syrah 2014 offers an entirely different, incredibly distinctive sense of place. This cuvée loudly proclaims its origins from the cobblestone, basalt river beds of the Rocks District, unleashing a profound, deeply savoury bouquet. Subdued aromas of moist soil, funk, and embers give way to a luxurious combination of liquid blackberries, plum, white truffle, and a rich, mouth-watering umami character. The full-bodied palate delivers exceptional texture and a seamless, silky mouthfeel. Ripe red and dark fruits are beautifully supported by soft, fully integrated tannins and a vibrant dash of blood orange zest, leading to an incredibly long, charry finish that highlights the stunning purity and complex range of this matured vintage Part of the "No Reserve Fine Wine :: Feat. Schild Estate" sale on Grays.
