The 2008 Bin 389 is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Shiraz from premium vineyards in Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek, and McLaren Vale. Matured for 13 months in 34% new American oak hogsheads, with the balance in seasoned American oak (some previously used for Penfolds Grange). Warm, dry season with excellent ripening and fruit quality across key South Australian regions. Vineyard Region: Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale.
