ROLEX COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA AUTO 40MM 18K WHITE GOLD REF. 116519 WHITE DIAL BXO COA Brand: Rolex Model: Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona Reference: 116519 Year: 2006 Condition: Pre-owned — Very Good Case Material: 18k white gold Case Diameter: 40mm Case Thickness: Approx. 12.4mm Bezel: 18k white gold, engraved tachymeter scale Crystal: Sapphire Dial: White, applied white gold baton indexes, contrasting chronograph registers Movement: Rolex Calibre 4130, automatic chronograph, in-house Power Reserve: Approx. 72 hours Functions: Hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph (30-minute and 12-hour registers) Water Resistance: 100m Strap: Leather, 20mm lug width Clasp: 18k white gold Rolex folding clasp Box: Included Papers: Not included COA: Included — Certificate of Authenticity A white gold Daytona on leather from a discontinued line. Ref. 116519 paired Rolex’s precious-metal chronograph with a leather strap, a configuration that ended when Oysterflex replaced it. Pre-2017 leather-strap Daytonas now sit apart from current production, and collectors who prefer a softer, dressier Daytona seek them out. A clean, understated white dial. White gold baton indexes and white gold hands on a crisp white dial give this Daytona a quieter look than the yellow or rose gold versions. The white gold case reads like steel at a glance, and the substance shows in the weight and the finish up close. Rolex’s first in-house chronograph calibre. The Calibre 4130 introduced Rolex’s own column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph architecture. It uses fewer components than the Zenith-based movement it replaced and has a reserve of roughly 72 hours, which makes it one of the most respected modern chronograph movements. Very Good pre-owned condition. The watch shows light wear consistent with careful ownership. The case retains a solid presence, and the tachymeter bezel and dial present well. Detailed photographs accompany this listing. Supplied with original box and a Certificate of Authenticity. The presentation box is included. The watch also comes with a standalone Certificate of Authenticity confirming its genuine status. Original Rolex papers are not included. (SN:11651) Part of the "Luxury Watches and Cases" sale on Grays.
