A luxurious, single-vintage fortified masterpiece from the historic cellars of the Barossa Valley.Drawn from select oak barrels after more than two decades of patient maturation, this expression showcases extraordinary depth, viscosity, and concentrated rancio complexity. Colour: Deep mahogany tawny with brilliant amber and golden flashes at the rim. Aroma: An intensely lifted and complex bouquet of roasting nuts, burnt toffee, butterscotch, and brandy snaps, layered with candied citrus rinds, Christmas cake, and warming exotic spices. Palate: Unctuous, rich, and full-bodied with exceptional concentration. Deep flavours of pure caramel, brittle toffee, and dried orange peel dominate the mouthfeel, balanced beautifully by a seamless undercurrent of old oak structure. Finish: Profoundly long and warming, driven by a vibrant seam of natural acidity that cuts through the intense sweetness, leaving a persistent, highly complex rancio finish.
