A 100% Grenache sourced from an old Seppeltsfield vineyard planted in 1901. It is widely considered a powerful, highly concentrated reference point for Barossa Grenache. Colour: Deep, opaque garnet-red with subtle purple reflections at the rim. Aroma: Highly perfumed and expressive, dominated by raspberry preserves, warm redcurrants, and blackberry liqueur, layered with complex undertones of kirsch, potpourri, oolong tea, mandarin peel, and savoury Asian spices. Palate: Opulent and rich with a full, seductive texture. It bursts with intense flavours of sweet black fruit, fruitcake, and prunes, anchored by dense mid-palate concentration and a tightly structured mineral core. Finish: Exceptionally long, vibrant, and velvety, balanced by crisp acidity and soft, dusty tannins that leave a multi-layered trail of spice and dark chocolate. Part of the "5 Star Provenance Sale - Avid Wine Collector." sale on Grays.
