An ultra-precise, mid-weight expression of this benchmark Margaret River icon.Sourced from the estate's historic 1967 vines, this unique vintage omits Petit Verdot entirely due to the cooler growing season, resulting in a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Malbec that masterfully emphasizes super-fine elegance, vibrant floral layers, and striking site purity. Colour: Bright garnet-red with spotlessly clear, deep crimson depth. Aroma: An incredibly expressive nose of blackcurrant coulis, red currants, and dark plums, beautifully layered with dried rosemary, lavender, and a distinct regional lift of native peppermint leaf and forest fungi. Palate: Succulent, creamy, and remarkably poised. The elegant medium-bodied palate delivers a pure, vivacious core of blackberry and dark chocolate, seamlessly supported by complex touches of cedar wood, tobacco, and dried herbs.
