Description

Selling a group of equipment including a 3D printer, laser system, cleaner, and fume extractor. All equipment was previously used at a school and is being sold as-is. Known condition details: 3D printer: needs a new motherboard Fume extractor: needs a new motherboard Laser system: needs repair PADT cleaner: appears to be working to the best of our knowledge Buyer is responsible for pickup, loading, and transportation. No shipping available and no assistance with moving/loading will be provided. Sold as-is with no guarantees or warranties. Here is the issue with the 3D printer: machine is currently experiencing a couple of issues. The one that is directly related to the failed prints is being caused by the machine failing to receive a signal telling it that it has successfully toggled between model and support material. The root cause of this is most likely a small sensor on the back of the print head that the toggle plate passes between. When the board goes bad, the sensor does not read or reads intermittently, the signal it needs to stop the head. Replacement of this board and the connecting cable will most likely fix this primary issue. The secondary issue you are having is in regards to the machine giving you a 14, 124 error on startup. I saw this when I first started up your machine, and it took 2 reboots to get past it. In a review of your configuration file, this issue has been going on since at least the spring of 19' and shows up multiple times in the file. The cause of this issue is related to the main control board of the machine. This board is the brains of the system and it has basically lost short-term memory. The biggest indicator of this is the internal dates have all reset to 01/01/1970 (Log: 01/01/70 00:00:01:298:). While restarting the machine until the error goes away will likely work short term, it will eventually cause secondary issues within the machine.
