Condition: As-is
Vintage IBM Selectric II, a classic electric typewriter first released in 1971. This specific model is a "Correcting" version, which was introduced in 1973. Key Features The "Golf Ball" Element: Instead of traditional moving typebars, it uses a rotating spherical typing element. This allows you to easily switch between different fonts and character sets. Correction System: As a "Correcting" model, it uses a special internal correction ribbon (typically white or adhesive tape) to lift errors directly off the page. Dual Pitch: Most Selectric II models feature a switch to change between 10-pitch (Pica) and 12-pitch (Elite) spacing. Stationary Carriage: Unlike older typewriters where the paper carriage moves as you type, only the typing head moves across the paper on this machine. Original Dust Cover included. Condition: Barn-find (dusty, no known damage, untested)
