🏛️ University of Northern Iowa, IA
Condition: As-is
Summary The Romer Absolute Arm from Hexagon Metrology is a 3D scanner that is able to scan objects that can be used for Reverse Engineering or checking tolerances on parts. Concerns • The Arm was primarily used for the laser scanning properties and not as much for the probe capabilities in its current lifespan. As such the probe hasn’t been calibrated in some time and may need calibration prior to use. • After moving the Probe will most likely need to be recalibrated for its new working location • Software to run the scanner will need to be purchased from Hexagon Metrology to use(Polyworks). Software to complete Reverse engineering of scans may needed to be purchased as well (Geomagix design, Rhino, Verisurf etc…) Location The printer is located on the first floor of TechWorks in Waterloo: 360 Westfield Ave, Waterloo, Iowa 50701 Removal must be done by the purchaser. The scanner was shipping in a traveling case and will be shipped out using that same case. Will assist in packaging the Romer arm up.
