As-Is. DETAILS : Up for auction is a CREO UDRC Debris Removal Cabinet. Unit is untested so function is unknown. The CREO (now Kodak) UDRC stands for Universal Debris Removal Cabinet. It is an industrial filtration unit designed to capture and manage microscopic debris generated during high-precision laser imaging of printing plates. The system supports heavy-duty, large-format output devices like Trendsetter and Magnus platesetters. How It Works & Key Features Filtration: The unit utilizes a multi-stage filtration system—typically featuring 5-micron and 0.01-micron filters—to strip away carbon, dust, and particulate matter created during the laser ablation or imaging of thermal plates. Imaging Reliability: By continuously cleaning the air and removing particulates from the drum, it prevents contamination and maintains strict mechanical tolerances for high-quality printing. Maintenance & Power: The UDRC usually operates on 208-240 Volts (12 Amps). Maintenance primarily involves periodically checking the system and replacing the UDRC filters when they become saturated.
