2006 Ford F-150 XL SuperCab 4WD

2006 Ford F-150 XL EXTENDED CAB PICKUP 4-DR, 5.4L V8 SOHC 24V FFV. 4WD, PW, PL, PW, Tilt steering and cruise control. Good tires. This truck has a few problems and we have decided to sell it. The transmission slips badly in the higher gears and the a/c only cools intermittently. When the compressor clutch will engage, it cools fine. Lately that's been less and less often. I have a new compressor and kit still in the box that goes with the sale. There is only one key that is programmed to start it. The other one is just cut for the door lock. The engine runs fine and the 4wd system works. The transmission linkage is misadjusted and it must be in neutral to start. Those are the only problems that I am aware of but the transmission is bad enough that you should be prepared to trailer or tow it away. I have driven it around town but I would not trust it to travel any distance beyond that. Please refer to the pictures for details. The pictures are of the item for sale.
