1998 John Deere 5310 Tractor with 521 Loader and Bucket

Description

Used 1998 John Deere 5310 Tractor. Starts, runs, drives, operates with no known mechanical issues. Removed from service May 2026. Features: SyncShuttle transmission with 3 gear ranges and 3 forward gears per range (and P/R) John Deere PowerTech 2.9 L diesel engine 2WD Differential lock 1 rear hydraulic remote connection 540 RPM PTO Headlights, hazards (turn signals inop) White/amber LED flashing warning lights on front and rear of ROPS upper portion (switch activated near ignition) Power steering 541 Loader with 73" material bucket (bucket has surface rust present and several edges are bent/warped) Deestone Industrial R1B F-3 11L-15SL Front Tires Titan Hi-Traction 16.9-28 Rear Tires ISSUES: The digital hour meter on the dash stopped recording hours and is frozen at 3032.7. An analog hour meter was installed to record hours. Adding the two together yields the actual machine hours (3755.6 total). The fuel gauge level displayed on the dash is inoperable and not accurate. The tachometer intermittently does not work. The rod connecting the loader attachment arms is bent and pins are missing from each side causing implement attachment points to be misaligned. This item is sold in used condition, as-is where-is. It may contain defects not immediately detectable. In person inspection available by appointment only by contacting atarter@metroparks.org.
