Overview This lot contains approximately 8 boxes of Covidien 8934PG2 sharps containers. Each box contains 10 containers, totaling approximately 80 individual 12-gallon chemotherapy containers. The containers are yellow in color with slide lids and are designed for PGII chemotherapy waste disposal. The items are in new/unused condition. Specifications Make: Covidien Model: 8934PG2 Key Features Sharp Safety PGII chemotherapy containers with 12-gallon capacity. Yellow containers with white slide lids for secure closure. Designed specifically for chemotherapy waste disposal. Contains 10 containers per box with approximately 8 boxes total. Containers feature printed instructions and safety information on the lid. Condition & Markings This item contains hazardous material. The bidder will comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations with respect to the care, handling, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other use of the material hereby purchased. The bidder will hold the United States harmless from and indemnify the United States against any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or other claims of any nature arising from or incident to the handling, use, storage, shipment, resale, export, or other disposition of the items purchased. Boxes are marked with model number 8934PG2 and contain regulatory markings including "Regulated Medical Waste - UN #3291". Some boxes show minor handling wear on exterior packaging. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
