Overview Wooden structure shed outbuilding. The structure was previously relocated from Forest Service land to the National Elk Refuge where it has remained unused. The building measures approximately 150 square feet and exhibits significant deterioration throughout. (1482AF61040001) scrap Key Features Log construction with exposed beam ceiling structure. Metal corrugated roofing. Multiple windows including front-facing and side windows. Single entry door on the front facade. Condition & Markings Extensive structural rot and damage present throughout the building. Significant weathering visible on exterior log walls and roofing. Bat guano and mouse dropping contamination present inside the structure. Metal roofing shows rust and corrosion damage. Foundation settling and structural instability evident. Building has been deemed cost prohibitive to repair due to structural issues. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
