Item Includes: 1x Bergstrom Sigrid Chardonnay 2014 1x Bergstrom Vineyards Sigrid Chardonnay 2020 The Sigrid bottling represents Josh Bergström's flagship Chardonnay—a meticulously curated selection of the finest barrels from their top estate vineyards across the Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge, and Chehalem Mountains AVAs.The 2014 vintage in Oregon was famously warm, generous, and bountiful. Having matured beautifully over the last 12 years, this bottle has evolved past its youthful primary fruit into a complex, highly intellectual tertiary phase. Colour: Bright golden straw with a brilliant, luminous hue. Nose: Intensely aromatic and mature, offering a bouquet of preserved lemon, caramelized orange peel, and dried white flowers, seamlessly layered with honeycomb, hazelnut paste, and a hint of struck-flint reduction. Palate: Broad, texturally rich, and mouth-coating. It displays concentrated flavours of baked apple pie, lemon curd, and toasted brioche, beautifully tempered by a distinct saline minerality and a fine-grained, oily texture. Finish: Long, warm, and highly persistent, leaving a lingering impression of sweet baking spices, roasted nuts, and a clean, savoury dryness.The 2020 vintage was a challenging, low-yield growing season that required incredibly rigorous selection. The resulting wine is a masterclass in tension, structural purity, and concentrated power, currently sitting in an optimal drinking window with plenty of vibrant life ahead. Colour: Pale straw-yellow with youthful greenish reflections. Nose: Piercing and tightly coiled, bursting with white peach, fresh Meyer lemon lime, and green pear, beautifully framed by spicy French oak, white ginger, and an electric, rocky minerality. Palate: Strikingly energetic and tightly focused. It balances immense fruit concentration—lemon oil and crisp orchard fruits—against a backbone of racy, mouth-watering acidity that drives straight through the mid-palate. Finish: Chiseled, exceptionally long, and pristine, concluding with a burst of citrus zest, crushed stones, and sophisticated, tightly integrated oak spice.
