A plush, succulent, and highly characterful red wine from the Columbia Gorge in Oregon.Crafted by the winemaking team of Anna Matzinger and Michael Davies, this wine utilises whole-cluster fermentation to balance intense, confectionary dark fruit layers with an earthy, savoury complexity. Appearance: Deep magenta and brooding colour in the glass. Aroma: An expressive bouquet opening with sweet, confectionary aromas of blue raspberry, boysenberry, spiced plum, and blackcurrant jam, layered with dark cocoa, black liquorice, graham cracker, and toasty pecan. Palate: Plush, succulent, and full-bodied on the palate. A core of vibrant blue fruits is balanced by a tangy, savoury quality and subtle, brushy earth tones introduced by the use of 25% whole-cluster fermentation.
