S compelling, highly expressive cool-climate wine that flips the script on what people normally expect from Tasmanian red winemaking.Crafted by the joint forces of cheesemaker Nick Haddow and acclaimed winemaker Jeremy Dineen, the fruit is sourced from one of the oldest vineyards in the Tamar Valley. Colour: Deep garnet red with remarkable richness and clarity in the glass. Aroma: An inviting bouquet of dark cherry, satsuma plum, and blackberry, layered with black tea, ground pepper, and sub-tle nuances of roasted game meats and savoury spice. Palate: Full-bodied yet beautifully succulent, driven by a fine-grained, sinewy tannin architecture. It displays dense layers of dark bramble fruits cut with mineral hints of turned earth and powdered basalt, delivering a vital, persistent length. Part of the "Curated Fine Wine Collection :: Taste of Summer" sale on Grays.
