A highly detailed, small-batch expression from a tiny vineyard in Yorktown, near the mouth of the Tamar River in northern Tasmania.Grown in unique white quartz gravel soils, this cool-climate Pinot Noir represents a brilliant collaboration between cheesemaker Nick Haddow and winemaker Jeremy Dineen. Colour: Bright ruby red with excellent clarity. Aroma: Intense dark cherry, wild strawberry, red plum, and blood orange aromas lead into complex overtones of dried citrus rind, amaro, exotic spice, and a light undergrowth tone. Palate: A powerful yet subtle palate featuring intricate red fruit and sweet spice flavours. Taut acidity and powdery, fine-grained tannins create a lacy, detailed structure with a long, savoury finish. Part of the "Curated Fine Wine Collection :: Taste of Summer" sale on Grays.
