THIS SALE IS FOR A 2008 Metrotech Pipe Locator Model 810DX (Orange). This asset is a utility pipe and cable locator wand used to trace underground lines, originally deployed by the Sewer Maintenance division. The unit was purchased in 2008 and is in poor, non-working condition. During evaluation, the unit did not turn on or power up. Additionally, the exterior carrying/protective case is noted as damaged. This equipment is being surplused because it is no longer utilized by the department. The item is located at the South Raleigh warehouse facility.
