THIS SALE IS FOR A 2014 Mag Horn Magnetic Locator MD450. This asset is a handheld magnetic locator designed to detect buried ferromagnetic objects such as valve boxes, manhole covers, iron pipes, and survey markers. It was originally deployed by the Sewer Maintenance division. The unit was purchased in 2014 and is in fair condition. It has been removed from site/active deployment because it is no longer being used by the department. There is no visible exterior physical damage present on the housing or wand assembly. Operational readiness/specific technical functionality is unknown as it has not been fully field-tested recently. The asset is located at the South Raleigh warehouse facility.
