For indoor use only suitable - if using outdoors place under a covered area. Requires 3 AA batteries (not included). If 1 bulb burns out the rest will stay lit. Cannot be connected to other lighted items. The silver wire is bendable and waterproof (battery pack is not waterproof). The lights have a convenient timer with 6 hours on 18 hours off.
