Canon F-1 Camera w/ Lenses, Winder, and Flash

Description

Offered for auction is a Canon F-1 camera with several lenses, a power winder and a Vivitar 285HV flash unit. Not much history is known as the people that bought and used this are now long gone. Included in this auction: - Canon F-1 body w/ AE Finder FN - top portion of Finder, near the hot shoe, is dented(see pictures) - AE Motor Drive FN - some of the middle contacts for the batteries show corrosion; batteries were still in the unit when given to me - Canon FD 70-210mm lens - Canon FD 28mm lens - Tokina AT-X 28-85 lens - Canon FD 50mm lens - Canon FD 20mm lens - loose focus ring - Vivitar 285HV Zoom Thyristor w/ a Vari Sensor Adapter These items are definitely in used condition and also need a good cleaning. Basic testing on the camera body shows that it seems to be functional even with a dead battery. For example, shutter speed knob turns as expected, ASA/ISO setting knob operates as expected, stopped down lever functions. However, the shutter speed doesn't seem to change except when put in bulb mode when it actually stays open. For instance, when put into 2-second mode, the shutter operates as if it was set to say 1/60th-second mode, instead of staying open for 2 seconds. Not being an F-1 person, more of a newer A-1 person with a working battery, it just might be my ignorance. For this, I apologize. The battery carrier for the power winder has some corrosion in some of the middle contacts from batteries having been left in the unit. The contacts connecting the carrier to the winder unit appear to be good, please see pictures. Focusing rings on the lenses operate smoothly except for the 20mm lens where it is loose but still appears functional. The zoom lenses zoom in and out smoothly. The 2 lens carriers in the first picture were empty when the picture was taken, but are included in the auction. The lenses were pulled out of them for the picture. No other testing was performed in terms of taking actual pictures to see how they come out. Please see the included pictures for the condition of the items. Items sold AS-IS.
