The GE Achilles InSight is an FDA-cleared, portable bone ultrasound device used in-office to assess osteoporosis risk and measure bone mineral status at the heel (os calcis). It provides a fast, radiation-free alternative to traditional DXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans. This unit is untested for function. The WSU Excess Surplus Property Management office is a Part-Time unit. The hours anyone is available is from 9am to 2pm Mon through Thursday. The warehouse is located in the Campus Services Building, CSB, 2200 Kauffman Avenue on the campus of Wright State University. The University is closed on weekends and will not respond to emails on weekends.
