HAZARDOUS MATERIALS STATEMENT: Purchaser must complete and sign the Hazardous Materials Form located in the Documents section of this offering and submit it to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov. The purchaser is responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, safety, transportation, and disposal laws and regulations. Award of property will not be made until the required form has been received. Overview (1) Stockert S5 heater-cooler system. The item is classified in used condition. The system may require repairs as noted in the item description. Specifications Make: Stockert Model: S5 Condition & Markings This lot is in used condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. The system may require repairs as indicated in the item description. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. The successful bidder is responsible for all cost and labor associated with loading, lifting, packing, packaging and pick up. No pick ups are allowed without scheduling first.
