The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Mattress Disclaimer For any mattresses, bedding, or upholstered furniture offered in this invitation, the purchaser is advised to procure and affix tags, labels, or stamps required by law or otherwise to comply with the state laws pertaining to sterilization, resale, and reuse of such items and filling material as required by state law. Selling agency shall be required to provide the state health agency for the state in which a successful bidder maintains its business, with a written notice of such sale to include the name and address of the purchaser and the types, quantities, and locations of the articles sold. A copy of the award document or similar notification would serve the purpose. A list of state health agencies to receive information on sales of surplus bedding and upholstered furniture is provided in FMR 101-45.4808. Overview This lot contains (5) Arjo Hospital Equipment Carendo Hygiene Chairs, (16) Lumex Bariatric Mattresses 42x80x7 600 lbs, (2) Kangaroo Pumps, and (1) Invacare Reliant 600. The items are classified in used condition. The hygiene chairs show cosmetic marks, scuffs and missing pads, while the Kangaroo pumps include additional power cords and some power supplies are included with the lot. Quantities are approximate. Key Features Lumex Bariatric Mattresses support up to 600 lbs weight capacity. Kangaroo Joey Enteral Feed and Flush Pump includes pole and additional power cords. Some power supplies are included with the equipment. Condition & Markings This lot is in used condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. Hygiene chairs display cosmetic marks, scuffs, and missing pads. Items are in usable condition, however repairs and parts may be required. Working condition is not guaranteed. Quantities are approximate and models may vary. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
