The Bell & Howell Criterion III (BB&H Criterion III) is a high speed, industrial-grade mail and ballot sorting system formerly manufactured by Bell & Howell. Designed for large-scale operations such as government election offices and major postal facilities, this machine was built to handle intensive sorting workloads. This unit is approximately 20 years old, is used, and will be provided to the winning bidder in as-is condition. The hardware remains operational; however, the software is obsolete, and no current versions or updates are available. The machine is several feet in length, weighs several hundred pounds, and can be disassembled into four separate components. This machine is being sold free of charge. The winning bidder is responsible for disassembly and on-site pickup within a reasonable timeframe after auction, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), 8:00am β 5:00pm. All components of the machine must be taken, including any spare parts and accessories; however, accommodations may be made if each section is scheduled for pickup at different times. The winning bidder is responsible for using their own tools and equipment for disassembly and hauling. Loading dock parking is available.
