The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview This lot contains (2) lensometers with kits, (2) Heine LED optical headsets, and (3) tono-pens. The equipment was previously used in the optometry section of a hospital and has exceeded its life expectancy. The lensometers were in workable condition when removed from service, while the Heine LED optical headsets are disassembled and the tono-pens may require repairs. Key Features Lensometers include accompanying kits. Heine LED optical headsets feature LED lighting technology. Tono-pens are specialized optometry measurement devices. Equipment was previously utilized in hospital optometry operations. Condition & Markings This lot is in repairable condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. The lensometers were in workable condition when removed from service but have exceeded their life expectancy. The Heine LED optical headsets are disassembled and require repairs. The tono-pens may need repairs and have exceeded their life expectancy. Items can be used for spare parts or scrap components. Inspection and Removal Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. Items can be viewed at the advertised location between 8:30-3:30 Monday through Friday. Please call in advance to schedule appointment. If being picked up by a third party, they will be expected to provide a copy of the Signed Purchaser's Receipt prior to merchandise being released.
